Adult-Use Retail License Application Submission

It is the responsibility of each applicant to ensure that the Commission receives a completed application by 4:00 p.m. on December 29, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.

Applications must be submitted through the State of Rhode Island’s Cannabis Licensing Portal. To access the application, applicants should create an account in the portal, select “Apply for a License, Card, or Tags,” and then choose “Commercial Cannabis Licensing.”

All questions about the application or application process must be submitted by email only to CCC.AURAPP@ccc.ri.gov with the subject line “Adult-Use Cannabis Retailer Question.” Failure to follow this procedure may result in disqualification.

Questions received, along with the Commission’s responses, will be posted on the Commission’s website so that all applicants have access to the same information. The Commission reserves the right not to respond to questions that are already addressed in the application, the Rhode Island Cannabis Act, or the regulations, as well as questions it deems immaterial or inappropriate.

For questions submitted after 4:00 p.m. during the week of the application deadline, the Commission may not provide a response. Applicants are encouraged to identify and submit questions as early as possible.
